BI Data Engineering Manager at Nexxen

Nexxen is seeking a BI Data Engineering Manager to lead a team in Tel Aviv. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and management of BI datasets, enabling effective data access for business teams, product, engineering, and senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of BI professionals and data engineers.
• Oversee end-to-end BI development and ownership.
• Develop and manage BI data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Provide guidance on architecture best practices.
• Advise engineering teams on database schema design.
• Research core technologies and integrations.

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a managerial role leading BI/ data engineering teams.
• 6+ years as a BI Developer/ETL Developer/BI Architect.
• Deep understanding of BI concepts.
• Extensive experience with database query languages and design.
• Experience with Python.
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with monitoring solutions and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Passion for data domains and commitment to quality processes.
