Finance Controller at Fincent

Fincent is seeking a Financial Controller to manage all aspects of financial management. The role involves corporate accounting, regulatory/financial reporting, budget/forecast preparation, and internal control policies. The individual will start as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining daily accounting books.
• Reconciling Stripe records for subscription and non-subscription revenue.
• Processing periodic stat payments for the Indian entity.
• Managing Indian payroll and statutory taxation.
• Ensuring accurate departmental fund allocation based on budgets.
• Acting as a Treasury Manager overseeing cash flow, liquidity, and risk management.
• Analyzing financial data for insights and recommendations.
• Assisting in budget development and monitoring performance.
• Optimizing financial processes and implementing best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CA preferred.
• 4-7 years of proven experience in finance.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Strong understanding of Ind AS/US GAAP/ financial planning and budgeting including benchmarking knowledge of transfer pricing- should have conducted a Transfer Pricing study
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
