Embedded Engineering Manager - Alarms

Job Description

Verkada is seeking an Embedded Engineering Manager to lead their Alarms team. This role involves building, extending, and improving Verkada Alarms' embedded devices and services. The manager will be responsible for ensuring the team's attention to detail and craft to grow the Verkada Alarms business.Responsibilities include:

• Building and leading the team through recruitment, mentoring, and leadership.
• Building amazing products that win the market.
• Working with Product Managers to chart roadmaps.
• Planning and driving project execution.
• Driving product quality, reliability, and user experience.
• Working cross-functionally with other product teams to enhance products.

Requirements include:

• 2+ years of experience in managing a team of engineers.
• 5+ years of experience in an embedded engineering role.
• Experience with C/C++ and embedded device development.
• Proficiency in agile team software development and project management.
• Adept at cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Passion for technology and staying updated with industry trends.
• Eye for design, product details, and polish
