Senior Mobile Developer

Job Description

Gigster is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join a leading media company and contribute to the development and maintenance of their mobile application. The role involves ensuring optimal performance, usability, and security while collaborating with the development team to deliver high-quality solutions.

The Senior Mobile Developer will be responsible for using React Native and other relevant technologies and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining the mobile application using React Native.
• Optimizing the mobile application for performance, usability, and security.
• Staying updated with the latest mobile app development trends and emerging technologies.
• Collaborating with the team to identify requirements, meet project milestones, and maintain regular communication.
• Effectively communicate and resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and enhance source code to align with project coding standards.
• Participate in the development of new features and provide support for existing ones.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Proven experience as a Senior Mobile Engineer with a strong focus on React Native, iOS, and Android expertise.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Strong background in Unit Testing.
• Solid knowledge of Git.
• Experience with modern CSS/Sass/Less.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.

Gigster offers:

• Totally remote, full time (40h/week)
• Flexible work hours but with a mandatory overlap with 2pm to 7pm (UTC +3)
• No-end-date, independent contractor agreement
