Chief Financial Officer at United Media

Job Description

United Media is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in London. The CFO will play a crucial role in building one of the portfolio companies. United Media focuses on building large scale industry media and conferences products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. As of today, they have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one. The role involves:

• Preparing annual budgets
• Providing weekly cash flow updates
• Conducting monthly P&L and cash updates
• Evaluating and implementing cost optimization programs
• Reviewing intercompany and external loans
• Supporting sales and operations teams
• Leading Working Capital responsibilities
• Managing Human Resources Financial Planning responsibilities

The company expects the candidate to have:

• Accounting background
• Ideally, more than two years of experience from a Big Four firm
• Experience as CFO, Head of Finance or Finance Director from a small or medium-sized business
• UK working permit
• Media and Conferences industry background preferred but not mandatory
