Finance Director at United Media

Job Description

United Media is seeking a Finance Director to play a crucial role in building one of their portfolio companies. The Finance Director will have ownership of the finances and will be working out of the London HQ. The role involves working closely with the CEO on finances and budgets, reporting to investors, and participating in board meetings.

• Prepare annual budgets for effective financial planning.
• Provide weekly updates on cash flow.
• Conduct monthly P&L and cash updates.
• Evaluate and implement cost optimisation programs.
• Review intercompany and external loans.
• Offer support to sales and operations teams.
• Lead the Working Capital responsibilities.
• Manage the Human Resources Financial Planning responsibilities.

Requirements for this position:

• Accounting background.
• Ideally, more than two years of experience from a Big Four firm.
• Experience as CFO, Head of Finance or Finance Director from a small or medium-sized business.
• UK working permit.
• Media and Conferences industry background preferred but not mandatory.
