Junior Software Engineer at Re-Leased

Re-Leased is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their Development Team in Napier. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, modifying, managing bugs, documenting, and deploying complex software to the highest level of quality. Re-Leased's vision is to shape the future of Commercial Real Estate and drive better outcomes for people, property, and the planet.

The Junior Software Engineer will be passionate about working with sophisticated software and possess the ability to think on their feet to identify new technical opportunities and execute projects with support from their Squad.

Role Involves:

• Writing and maintaining code to system requirements and technical specifications.
• Providing support with diagnosing and correcting complex production issues.
• Testing to ensure all work meets team quality standards.
• Identifying technology limitations in current application and code.
• Peer programming with more senior developers.
• Taking initiative to debug, fix, and improve existing code.

Requirements:

• Experience with .NET 4.0/4.5 in C#, or a similar tech stack.
• Skills to design and build web applications with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Ability to write code that runs quickly and robustly.
• A flair for developing user interface and experience.
• A desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
