Internal Tools Engineer at SoundCloud

SoundCloud is seeking an Internal Tools Engineer to develop and maintain internal tools. The engineer will empower operators from various teams across the organization. This role involves collaborating across departments, integrating with internal systems and third-party APIs, and writing efficient, scalable, and well-tested code.

The Internal Tools Engineer will engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of SoundCloud's internal infrastructure. They will translate operational needs into technical solutions, implement monitoring and alerting systems, and ensure reliability and rapid issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal tools.

Requirements:

• Experience writing enterprise-level code in Javascript, Ruby, or Python.
• Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and schema design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SQL.
