Sr Systems Engineer (Citrix Virtualization) - 1834 at Altera Digital Health India

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer (Citrix Virtualization). This role is responsible for implementing and supporting enterprise-level Citrix environments, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of Citrix and related systems.

The Sr Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the Altera's Citrix infrastructure. They will work with a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality IT services to the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing and supporting enterprise-level Citrix environments
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining Citrix servers and related systems
• Identifying opportunities to standardize, enhance, and automate existing processes
• Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and problems with Citrix and related systems
• Serving as third level escalation for Citrix support and troubleshooting
• Engaging in technical problem solving across multiple technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as Citrix Virtualization engineer/administration in large environments (2000+ users)
• Experience configuring and managing Citrix technologies such as CVAD, NetScaler/ADC, StoreFront, PVS, MCS, Citrix Cloud, Citrix in Azure
• Team player with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality
• Detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of Citrix technologies
• Ability to translate complex technical information into understandable business language
• Experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
