Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in .NET and C#, as well as 2-4 years of experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core Web APIs, and Angular. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining health IT solutions that support caregivers worldwide.

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for feature development, bug fixes, code reviews, and documentation. They will also participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues, and assist other teams as needed. Altera values innovation and expertise to elevate care delivery and inspire healthier communities across the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Gain product knowledge in the initial 4-5 months.
• Actively participate in feature development and bug fixes under the guidance of senior team members.
• Actively participate in the code review process and prepare technical guides/documentation.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting issues and help other teams in resolving them.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of working experience in .NET and C#.
• 2-4 years of working experience in ASP.NET Core, .NET Core Web APIs, and Angular.
• 2-4 years of working experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong in .NET and SQL Server fundamentals.
• Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and some hands-on experience in writing and consuming WCF Service & WebAPIs.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, principles, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or relevant work experience.
• Effective communication using written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC.
• Working knowledge on TFS and/or Git hub.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
