Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Configuration Engineer to join their team in Baroda, Gujarat, India. The Configuration Engineer will be responsible for configuration management, DevOps, and operations roles, contributing to the delivery of health IT solutions such as Sunrise™, Paragon®, Altera TouchWorks®, Altera Opal, STAR™, HealthQuest™ and dbMotion™ solutions.

The Configuration Engineer role involves:

• CI/CD pipeline management and automation.
• Development skills in C# and SQL.
• Writing efficient queries and troubleshooting applications.
• Troubleshooting in operational and development environments.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years in configuration management, DevOps, or operations roles.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or related languages.
• Preferable development experience with C# and SQL.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
