Software Engineer

Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to their health IT solutions. This role is based in India.Altera's software engineer will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining software applications using .NET Core, Angular, C#, and SQL.
• Implementing design patterns, parallel programming, and multithreading techniques.
• Working with web APIs, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Writing and executing unit tests.
• Creating store procedures, functions and optimising SQL queries.
• Utilizing tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Following Agile/SAFe methodologies.

Requirements for this position include:

• 2-5 years of experience in software development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, Angular, C#, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, parallel programming, and multithreading.
• Experience with web APIs, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Familiarity with unit testing.
• Experience with SQL store procedures, functions, query execution plans and performance tuning.
• Experience using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies.
