Senior Software Engineer, UI at Legion

Legion Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, UI to join their team in Bucharest, Romania. This is a hybrid role focused on the implementation and evolution of Legion's high-performance, data-driven Java enterprise application.

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for writing secure, efficient, enterprise-quality code. He/She needs to demonstrate a deep understanding of techniques and technologies necessary for scalability and performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting architecture sessions
• Building enhancements and extensions
• Creating plans for integration and unit testing
• Developing long-lasting relationships with customers
• Managing expectations and adapting to customer needs
• Managing difficult situations calmly and effectively

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience with AngularJS & React
• Experience upgrading from AngularJS to React
• Experience with CSS3, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, and JSON
• Experience with containerization and cloud deployments (AWS)
• Experience building software products in a cloud-based environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field
