Job Description

Legion Technologies is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (QA) to join their team in Bucharest, Romania. This is a hybrid position.

The Software Development Engineer in Test (QA) will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites to verify the functionality and performance of Legion’s cloud software. The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure a comprehensive testing strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites.
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA team members.
  • Maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation of test scripts.
  • Maintaining automated regression test suites.
  • Identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects and issues.
  • Supporting root cause analysis on customer-reported issues.
  • Refining quality assurance processes.
  • Supporting the creation of automated performance tests.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in test automation for cloud software.
  • 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge on Postman, RestAssured, and SoapUI.
  • Demonstrated experience in test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of JIRA, Jenkins pipeline, and database concepts.
  • Demonstrate to write Scalable, Maintainable, and Reliable automation scripts in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
