Vannevar Labs is seeking a Strategic Growth Leader to spearhead go-to-market strategies and achieve significant growth outcomes. This role focuses on a greenfield growth initiative, demanding substantial scope and responsibilities. The ideal candidate possesses experience in scaling defense product deployments from initial pilots to large-scale projects within the Department of Defense or other federal government entities.This individual should be adept at launching pilot programs, converting them into larger, impactful projects, and integrating these projects into existing frameworks or creating new ones within the national security domain. The role requires creative problem-solving skills, the ability to overcome obstacles, and the capacity to drive organizational change.What this role involves:

What we're looking for:
  • 7+ years of experience working on defense policy with government leaders and/or in defense acquisition and program management or 7+ years delivering growth for defense products, ideally in a startup environment for 4+ of those years.
  • Demonstrated ability to decompose programs and requirements to formulate a GTM strategy for new technology.
  • Experience or intuition for launching pilots with federal customers, driving them to success, and converting them to paid engagements.
  • Experience or intuition for creating an ambitious, holistic strategy for a greenfield growth vertical in the federal government.
  • Mission domain experience in national security technology.
  • Must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance or have held one previously.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required.
  • Up to 50% travel.
