Job Description
Markforged is seeking a Refurbishment Technician B to support the operational effectiveness of refurbishment and warranty processes. The technician will work directly with the Refurbishment Engineer and Quality Manager to ensure operational goals are met. This role involves inspecting, assembling, and testing refurbishment items, maintaining tooling and equipment, managing warranty tickets, and supporting special projects.
- Refurbishing printers and components to factory standards.
- Assisting with analyzing failure modes.
- Supporting Customer Solutions with parts requests, sourcing, and troubleshooting.
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on local printers.
- Collecting data and giving feedback to improve customer experience.
- Maintaining quality control for refurbished parts and units.
- Participating in diagnosing and root cause analysis of returned parts and units.
- Collaborating with Operations to maintain an inventory level of refurbished parts.
Qualifications: - Minimum: High school education
- Preferred: 4-year degree in electronics or other technical field
- Additive manufacturing (preferred)
- Electronics/Soldering (preferred)
- Electromechanical skills (preferred)
- Quality Inspection Testing
