Scalapay is seeking a Marketing Executive Intern to support its marketing expansion in Iberia (Portugal & Spain). The intern will collaborate with the Iberia marketing manager to execute local campaigns, analyze market trends, and contribute to brand growth. This is a 6-month internship based in Barcelona, Spain.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing B2B and B2C marketing initiatives across digital, social media, events, and offline channels.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
  • Adapt global marketing materials to the local audience, ensuring cultural relevance and brand consistency.
  • Assist in managing local social media accounts, creating engaging content, and interacting with the community.
  • Support collaborations with strategic partners to amplify brand reach.
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing activations, trade shows, and local events.

Requirements:

  • Native or Near-Native Portuguese speaker (mandatory)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory)
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing
  • Passion for marketing and consumer engagement
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics is a plus
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools is an advantage
