Scalapay, a unicorn company transforming online and in-store shopping experiences with its BuyNow PayLater solution, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in Italy. Reporting to the Sales Leader, the Account Executive will be responsible for identifying new merchant opportunities and driving business growth within the Italian market.

Role involves:

  • Defining portfolio strategy.
  • Generating new business opportunities and closing deals.
  • Driving strategy for new clients through sales calls and business reviews.
  • Building custom sales presentations.
  • Establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Managing sales pipeline in Hubspot CRM.
  • Improving the sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales or business development experience in SaaS, ecommerce, or digital marketing.
  • Native Italian speaker with comfortable English proficiency.
  • Experience in the eCommerce ecosystem (Nice to have).
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, LinkedIn, and prospecting solutions (Nice to have).
  • Experience in a hyper-growth startup environment (Nice to have).
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC or other commercial frameworks (Nice to have).
  • Strong determination, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and proactive approach to work.
  • Team player mentality.
