Job Description

Scalapay is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer to join their team in Milan, Italy. Scalapay's innovative BuyNow PayLater payment solution is transforming the way customers shop, and this role will be key in further developing and optimizing their mobile applications.

The Mobile Software Engineer will be responsible for building and optimizing Scalapay's mobile applications using the Flutter framework.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and maintaining mobile applications using the Flutter framework.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
  • Implementing new features and functionalities, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Optimizing application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Writing clean, maintainable code, and participating in code reviews.
  • Developing and maintaining unit tests and automation scripts.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development and Flutter framework.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in mobile application development.
  • Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
