Scalapay is seeking a Junior Fraud Risk Analyst to join their Risk team in Milan. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding Scalapay and its customers from fraudulent activities. This involves monitoring fraud trends, scrutinizing risk patterns, and executing strategies to diminish fraud losses while upholding a smooth customer experience. The role requires close collaboration with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to fortify fraud detection and prevention measures.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring fraud performance metrics, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Developing and optimizing fraud detection strategies.
• Analyzing data to detect emerging fraud patterns.
• Enhancing fraud mitigation capabilities using third-party tools and internal systems.
• Supporting investigations and preparing reports for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of fraud risk management in financial services, payments, or e-commerce.
• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in SQL.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills in English.
