Staff Software Engineer (Data Platform)

Demandbase is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their product development team. The ideal candidate will be a creative, highly motivated, and enthusiastic engineer. What this role involves:

• Designing, modeling, and implementing data analysis and analytics solutions.
• Serving as a hands-on individual contributor for data projects, handling high-level design, analysis, experiments, data architecture, and data modeling.
• Supporting ETL pipeline modules through state-of-the-art transformations, data cleaning, matching, reports/dashboards, and statistical analysis.
• Employing analysis techniques such as segmentation, regressions, clustering, and data profiling to analyze trends and report key performance indicators.
• Collaborating within a team to build a large-scale, high-availability, fault-tolerant data analytics platform.

• Confident and articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Open to working in a small development environment.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics from a top engineering institution.
• 12 - 15 years of Data Engineering experience in building enterprise data/analytics solutions.
• Strong practical experience in Databases, Advanced SQL & Python/R.
