Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. This role involves building data infrastructure, data pipelines, and services to enable data-driven decisions across the company. The ideal candidate will be passionate about product quality and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient data infrastructure.
- Work cross-functionally to build data products that improve Verkada products and customer experience.
- Design and implement solutions for data quality, security, and compliance.
- Lead projects from design to implementation.
- Help lead and grow junior engineers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of data engineering related development experience.
- Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for product quality and building systems to ship high quality releases.
- In-depth expertise in distributed systems and data processing.
- Experience with data infrastructure and data analytics.
