Chief Accountant (PL: Główna/y Księgowa/y) at PsiBufet

Butternut Box is seeking a Chief Accountant to join their team in Zabrze, Poland. The company is in a hyper-growth phase and expanding internationally, making it an exciting time to join. The Chief Accountant will be a key member of the Core Finance team, focusing on financial and tax compliance, as well as maintaining a strong control environment. The Chief Accountant will report to the Head of Finance EU and collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Co-creating the Finance and Accounting Department.
• Maintaining full accounting of the company (Dogmates Sp. z o.o.) in accordance with Polish regulations.
• Settling all taxes due and preparing tax returns.
• Co-creating the chart of accounts, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Supervising the correctness of source documents and their posting.
• Conducting the period end close.
• Monitoring changes in tax regulations and implementing them.
• Cooperating with tax authorities and representing the company.

• Very good knowledge of Polish accounting, tax, and legal regulations for a large manufacturing company.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Deputy in a large manufacturing company.
• Very good knowledge of English and Polish.
• Experience with SAP B1 is a plus.
