Capital Projects Engineer at PsiBufet

Butternut Box is seeking a Capital Projects Engineer to play a key role in the construction and development of their new Sam’s Kitchen facility in Zabrze. The engineer will be involved from project initiation through the installation of equipment and services, contributing to the completion of a fresh pet food production plant with a capacity of 1200 tons per week.

The role involves continuous improvement of the plant and managing the installation of new production lines, ovens, freezers, conveyors, and robotic automation. This position requires strategic and operational skills, working collaboratively with various teams to achieve optimal results.

Role Involves:

• Planning, designing, and executing capital expenditure projects to meet business goals.
• Developing equipment specifications and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Managing all project stages, including scope, budget, and phases, to ensure successful handover to operations.
• Leading project teams and coordinating suppliers and contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Analyzing data to optimize processes and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, process engineering, or related field).
• Experience in managing capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of project management (APM, Prince2, or equivalent certifications preferred).
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
• Willingness to travel.
• Love for dogs.
