Job Description
Truveta, a company formed and governed by US health systems, is seeking a Director of Life Science Business Development. This role involves scaling Truveta’s medical device and health tech partner base. The Director will report to the Vice President of Business Development and will play a crucial role in engaging with potential prospects and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting outbound calls, emails, and messages.
- Identifying new business opportunities and building relationships.
- Qualifying leads and understanding client needs.
- Demonstrating Truveta’s value proposition using Real-World Data.
- Developing proposals aligned with client needs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Maintaining prospect information in the CRM system.
- Developing and executing quarterly strategic business plans.
- Managing territory and executing sales strategies.
- Expanding knowledge of Truveta products and industry trends.
- Representing Truveta at industry events.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in Life Sciences Real World Data and analytics business development.
- Proven track record as a successful business development executive at an RWD company.
- Strong network and relationships with key decision-makers in Life Science companies.
- Experience with navigating complex Life Science or HealthTech or Med Device organizations.
- Experience with enterprise-level RWD Life Sciences data strategies.
- Ability to lead comprehensive selling processes.
- Experience with matrixed management of cross-functional teams in start-up environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
