Storable, including its subsidiary Newbook, is seeking a Sr. Payments Support Specialist to join their Support team in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. This individual will be the Payments SME, providing support to customers using the platform with a focus on payment-related inquiries. They will analyze and resolve complex payment and software issues, leveraging their knowledge of merchant services and the payments ecosystem.
The role involves:
- Providing guidance and support to clients via phone and email.
- Investigating and resolving cases while collaborating with team members.
- Escalating issues to product or engineering teams when necessary.
- Serving as a subject matter expert for the payments ecosystem and lifecycle.
- Assisting in training other support representatives on payments support.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in Merchant Services, Banking, or Finance required.
- Experience with credit card processing is a must.
- At least 2 years of product support experience in a technical, payments-related support position.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of customer service principles.
