Job Description
Storable is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand its customer base. The representative will identify and overcome daily challenges, connect with storage facility operators, and identify opportunities to deliver additional value. They will qualify potential new deals by understanding the problems self-storage operators face and empowering sales executives with relevant information to demonstrate how Storable's technology can solve those problems.
What this role involves:
- Regular interaction with storage facility operators, using Salesforce for team tracking.
- Testing new approaches to sales and lead generation.
- Generating cross-sell opportunities for sales representatives.
- Working multiple outbound call campaigns.
- Cold-calling to find net-new opportunities.
- Maintaining a fun work environment.
- Designing value propositions.
- Prioritizing high-urgency opportunities.
- Maintaining Salesforce data.
- Making 80+ outbound calls a day
- Generating 2 outbound SQLs per day
- Pipeline management and follow-ups with potential clients
- Hitting monthly activity and lead quotas
- Taking detailed notes on all customer interactions
Requirements:
- 1+ years in SaaS sales or support (or comparable experience).
- Salesforce, Zendesk, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Time-management skills and self-motivation.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
