Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Job Description

A portfolio company is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager (m/f/d) in Munich to build supplier engagement. The Business Development Manager will focus on ensuring suppliers are actively using the API platform and contribute to various projects. The company is a ConTech Startup building a disruptive solution to digitalize a key area of the supply chain process in the construction industry.

In this role, the Business Development Manager will:

• Take ownership for bringing suppliers like Würth, BayWa, and Hilti onto the platform.
• Convince enterprise and SMB suppliers to develop integration solutions.
• Lead SDRs and develop strategies to persuade suppliers.
• Work with the technical team to translate supplier requirements into API solutions.
• Advocate for automation and optimised processes.

Requirements:

• Strategic mindset with experience in building business partnerships in SaaS or supply chain.
• Passion for career development and team collaboration.
• Basic technical understanding of software development and APIs.
• Can-do attitude and ambitious mindset.
• Enthusiasm for project management and process optimisation.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• German at a native level (or C2) and fluent English.
• Eligibility to work within the EU.
