Job Description

A ConTech-Startup in Munich is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive tech sales for key partners. The company is developing a disruptive solution to digitalize a central area of the supply chain process in the construction industry. The Business Development Manager will focus on ensuring suppliers actively use the API platform and have the opportunity to contribute to various projects, and work closely with technical team.

Role Involves:

  • Bringing suppliers like Würth, BayWa, or Hilti onto the platform.
  • Convincing Enterprise & SMB suppliers by developing solutions for connection to the platform.
  • Managing SDRs and developing strategies to convince more suppliers of the solution.
  • Collaborating with the technical team to translate supplier requirements into scalable API solutions.
  • Advocating for automation and optimized processes to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strategic mindset with experience in building partnerships, ideally in SaaS or supply-chain industries.
  • Passion for career development and team collaboration in a fast-growing start-up.
  • Basic technical understanding of software development and APIs.
  • "Can-do" mentality and ambition with a focus on rapid implementation.
  • Enthusiasm for project management, especially for optimization through AI and automation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Native-level German (or C2) and fluent English.
  • Eligibility to work within the EU.
