Job Description
A portfolio company is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the Founders in scaling their business. This role involves driving operational success at the company, specifically a next-generation supply chain platform that uses AI and automation to optimize procurement.
The Chief of Staff will work closely with the Founders, taking ownership of strategic and operational tasks. They will contribute to professionalizing the platform, organization, and services, and also play a role in capacity planning and staffing.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and optimizing internal processes and projects.
- Managing internal tools and administrative activities (e.g., project billing, time tracking).
- Preparing presentations for workshops, meetings, and company-wide communications.
- Monitoring the progress of initiatives and providing insights to stakeholders.
- Organizing internal and external events.
- Providing on-site support to the Founders, including occasional business travel.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in consultancies, scale-ups, VCs, or PEs.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Proficiency in building slides and spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical and process-oriented approach.
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage ambiguous situations.
- Relationship-building skills and anticipation of needs.
- Resilient, proactive, and trustworthy attitude.
- Business-level proficiency in German and English.
- Willingness to work in an office setting.
- Willingness to travel at least once a month within Europe.
- Eligibility to work within the EU.
