Lead Full-Stack Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Description

A partner company is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to lead its development team and actively drive both the technical strategy and its implementation. The Lead Full-Stack Engineer will focus on effectively leading the team, ensuring high-quality software development, and actively managing the continuous technical development of the platform. They will have the opportunity to participate in exciting projects.

Role Involves:

• Leading and managing the IT team, promoting collaboration and professional development
• Overseeing the development of a new version of the self-publishing platform
• Working closely with the product team to coordinate priorities and requirements for platform development
• Designing and implementing new platform functionalities
• Responsibility for programming and project tracking to ensure timely and high-quality results
• Maintaining and continuously improving the existing platform infrastructure to ensure stability and scalability
• Replacing legacy systems and migrating legacy data to the new platform
• Responsibility for the IT strategy as well as the IT equipment of the employees and the company

Requirements:

• First experience in leading a development team
• Strong full-stack understanding with the ability to work in both frontend and backend and DevOps
• Solid knowledge of PHP & Symfony as well as extensive experience with Angular
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban is an advantage
• Hands-on mentality as well as a high degree of personal responsibility
• Independent way of working and openness to new technologies
• Strong team spirit with high appreciation for cooperation and mutual respect
• Very good German and good English skills
• The authorization to work within the EU is also required.
