Job Description
A German hardware company, specializing in cutting-edge microchips, is seeking a Project Manager Fab - Tool Hook-Up to oversee the installation, connection, and setup of semiconductor manufacturing equipment in its Aachen fabrication facility. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient tool hookup processes and contributing to various projects within the company.
Role Involves:
- Leading the planning and execution of tool hookup projects in the wafer fab.
- Managing utility requirements, space allocation, and tool placement strategies.
- Coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth integration of new tools into existing systems.
- Developing and maintaining project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Ensuring adherence to cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hookup efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor fab management or tool hookup roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- PMI certification (PMP or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent project management skills, including risk management and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Native proficiency in German and good English skills (written and spoken).
