A German dual-use technology company is seeking a motivated People Operations Manager to lead its Human Resources strategies. The People Operations Manager will focus on streamlining people operations processes and tools, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and contributing to various P&C topics.

The role involves:

  • Addressing people operations queries from employees promptly and accurately.
  • Managing all personnel operations including payroll and HR practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with German labor laws and standards.
  • Leading initiatives that support people and culture projects across the organisation.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilising HR analytics to gain insights into employee performance and trends.
  • Supporting the visa and relocation processes as needed.
  • Driving digital transformation in HR and modernise legacy systems.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in People Operations or a related field, preferably within a tech environment.
  • A strong understanding of German labor laws, payroll management, and HR practices.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience with HRIS and other People systems is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret HR metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German & English are required.
  • Eligibility to work within the EU.
