Our portfolio company is seeking a motivated Account Executive to support its go-to-market strategies. This role involves optimizing business-critical services and contributing to various projects within a next-generation supply chain platform. This company is redefining how one of the world’s largest industries sources, distributes, and finances materials. With a team of 80+ FTEs across Europe (Berlin HQ), China, and India, the company is rapidly scaling toward profitability.

In this role, the Account Executive will:
  • Facilitate and oversee transactions on the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to address issues.
  • Stay informed about market trends and industry dynamics.
  • Conduct regular analysis of trade data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and suppliers.
  • Address client concerns and work towards problem resolution.
  • Work closely with the technology team to provide feedback.
  • Ensure all trades comply with regulations and internal policies.

The ideal candidate should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management.
  • Eligibility to work within the EU.
