Job Description
The company, a next-generation supply chain platform, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join their sales team in Berlin. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, maintaining strong relationships with customers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the platform. The Senior Sales Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the innovative marketplace, connecting buyers and suppliers globally. They will also mentor new team members and stay informed about market trends.
Role Involves:
- Manage the full sales cycle and identify new opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Facilitate and oversee transactions on the marketplace.
- Work closely with Technology, Operations, Growth and Leadership teams.
- Mentor new team members.
- Address client concerns and feedback and work towards effective problem resolution.
- Stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
- At least 4 years of experience in Sales and Business Development roles.
- Proven record in mentoring junior team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in German (native speaker fluency preferred) and good English command.
- Go-To-Market, entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management is a plus.
