Backend Developer

AutoDS, recently acquired by Fiverr, is seeking a Backend Developer to contribute to an exciting e-commerce project. The role is fully remote and involves working within a dynamic team to develop innovative tools for online sellers. The Backend Developer will play a pivotal role in driving the success of a groundbreaking e-commerce project. This requires a forward-thinking individual passionate about solving complex challenges.

Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the development and maintenance of the company's core product.
• Enhancing and extending Flask-based back-end services.
• Designing and implementing integrations with internal and external APIs.
• Advocating for and uphold best coding practices, delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Developing and maintaining applications built with FastAPI.

Requirements include:

• Proven expertise in Python with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in at least one additional object-oriented programming language.
• Solid experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• A proactive mindset and a strong drive to excel in a dynamic work environment.
• Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining flexibility.
• Language proficiency: Intermediate or higher in both English and Russian.
