Psychiatric Nurse l (LPN) - Full-Time, Night Shift - Float/Flexible Schedule

Job Description

WellPower is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse I (LPN) to join their Crisis Services team. The position offers a flexible night shift schedule and involves working between the Denver Walk-In Crisis Center and the Behavioral Health Solutions Center. The nurse will obtain and record clinical information, provide clinical services, and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing psychological problem identification and crisis interventions.
• Assisting consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.
• Coordinating consumer’s use of WellPower programs and outside community resources.
• Coordinating medical care with clinical staff and psychiatrists.
• Drawing blood, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Participating in team meetings and supervisory sessions.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience working with consumers with serious mental illness preferred.
• Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing in Colorado.
