Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking an Accounting Staff/Leader Candidate to contribute to the PlayStation business from an accounting perspective. This role offers the opportunity to gain cutting-edge knowledge and experience in the gaming industry.

Role involves:

• Performing stand-alone and consolidated financial closing tasks (IFRS, consolidated accounting).
• Preparing financial performance reports for management and headquarters.
• Handling audit correspondence (consolidated purpose, company law, SOX).
• Participating in business improvement projects (related party transactions, etc.).
• Aligning global accounting processes.
• Preparing and implementing accounting instructions in English.
• Collaborating with overseas members and auditors to achieve unified accounting processes across group companies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of practical experience in consolidated financial closing or accounting audits in a business company (with thousands of employees or more) or an audit firm.
• Passed Nissho Bookkeeping Level 2 or possess equivalent accounting knowledge necessary for financial analysis.
• Business-level English proficiency (email writing, speaking in online meetings with overseas locations, etc.).
• Business-level Japanese proficiency (Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 or equivalent).
