Senior Compliance Manager at Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join their ESG team in Tokyo. This role is pivotal in ensuring PlayStation's global compliance with product, environmental, and other business-related laws and regulations. The Senior Compliance Manager will report to senior management, optimize compliance, and manage related activities across the company.

The ESG team at Sony Interactive Entertainment is dedicated to advancing environmental, social, and governance initiatives within the PlayStation business. Since the first PlayStation launch in 1994, SIE has driven innovation. As SIE continues to grow and evolve, the team aims to create impact beyond gaming in ESG aspects, promote social change and protect the earth for future generations. The ESG team operates globally from London, San Mateo, and Tokyo.

Role involves:

• Developing company-wide compliance strategies for the PlayStation business.
• Monitoring legal and regulatory trends and reporting to senior management.
• Reviewing and improving the company's compliance structure.
• Creating internal systems for new regulatory areas.
• Managing compliance meetings and internal communications.
• Handling consultations and escalations from compliance staff in various areas of SIE.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in product and environmental compliance.
• Business-level Japanese and English skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Project management skills.
