Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Media Planner to focus on the Japanese market for the PlayStation brand. This role involves planning and buying media to promote PlayStation hardware, software, and services to both existing and potential customers.

The Media Planner will work within a team passionate about delivering PlayStation to as many people as possible. The team consists of 9 members, with 3 in the media planning team. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders through email and online meetings. While primarily remote, the position requires occasional office presence. The role also requires using English in daily work as part of a global team.

Role involves:

  • Media planning and buying for the Japanese market
  • Optimizing and disseminating information about PlayStation products
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising media or marketing analysis
  • Experience in media and digital marketing, preferably with an agency
  • Proficiency in Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • TOEIC 850+ or equivalent English skills
  • Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
