Business Application Analyst (グローバル人事システム領域) at Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.

PlayStation is seeking a Business Application Analyst to join their IT department in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves providing solutions and implementing systems related to the PlayStation business, with a focus on global HR systems. The analyst will contribute to the formulation and execution of long-term growth strategies, supporting the HR department through various tasks and projects.

The Business Application Analyst will collaborate with external and internal partners to manage projects and maintenance operations. They will also work with global stakeholders to develop migration plans from legacy systems, based on the business application portfolio. The role includes negotiating and managing licenses for assigned business applications.

This is a hybrid role, where employee can choose to work onsite or remotely.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conducting business research and proposing solutions to support the HR department.
• Participating in major HR projects as an IT support.
• Prioritizing, defining requirements, managing progress, and coordinating delivery for change requests in existing HR-related systems.
• Managing project planning, promotion, and maintenance operations in collaboration with external and internal partners.
• Collaborating with global stakeholders to develop migration plans from legacy systems based on the business application portfolio.
• Negotiating and managing licenses for assigned business applications.

Requirements:

• Experience as a leader in IT projects.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and communication skills to involve others.
• English: Reading and writing proficiency.
• Japanese: Business level proficiency (Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 or equivalent).
