The Role Involves:
- Designing Bluetooth or other wireless communication protocols on PlayStation system software.
- Implementing software for the designed protocols.
- Integrating PlayStation's unique functions into the system in an optimal way.
- Working on protocol stacks and device drivers.
- Implementing new Bluetooth profiles and original protocols.
- Porting open-source protocol stacks.
- Evaluating and supporting new wireless chips, including driver design.
- Handling wireless certification and support.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Bluetooth protocols and experience in product-level development and implementation.
- Experience in software development using C/C++.
- Experience in porting open-source Bluetooth stacks such as BlueZ.
- Experience in developing protocol stacks, device drivers, or real-time OS on Unix-based OS such as Linux or FreeBSD.
- Experience and knowledge of Audio Codecs.
- Willingness to take on the challenge of developing wireless protocols and products for PlayStation.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems by involving others beyond one's own responsibilities.
