Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Development/Evaluation Engineer for cutting-edge custom LSIs used in PlayStation and other products. The engineer will be responsible for high-speed I/F development, including PCIe, USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
The role involves working with top-tier LSI design houses, using advanced architectures and technologies to develop competitive LSIs.
What This Role Involves:
- Specifying LSI specifications based on input from product planning, hardware, software, and game developers.
- Ordering and co-designing/developing with LSI vendors.
- Verifying and evaluating prototype chips to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
- Providing support for mass production.
Requirements:
- C/C++ programming experience.
- Knowledge of high-speed I/F (PCIe, USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.).
- Ability to read English specifications and communicate via email in English.
