Job Description
City Teaching Alliance seeks candidates for its Resident Teacher program in Dallas, TX. This is a four-year teacher training and certification program aimed at addressing educational inequity. The program prepares teachers through a residency year, a master's degree program, and ongoing coaching and mentorship. The Resident Teacher will participate in:- Co-teaching in urban classrooms.
- Earning a master’s degree from American University School of Education.
- Obtaining dual teaching certifications.
- Receiving coaching and mentorship.
- An undergraduate degree by June 2025.
- A minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or DACA recipient status.
- Paid residency year with a stipend.

- Full-time employment as a teacher with a salary in years 2-4.
