IT Systems Administrator

Job Description

Perplexity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Systems Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and requires in-person presence 5 days a week. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing the IT needs of both in-person and remote offices, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's technology infrastructure.Responsibilities include:

• Managing IT needs for in-person and remote offices
• Procuring, maintaining, and administering computers, networking equipment, and office technology
• Overseeing Mobile Device Management (MDM) infrastructure
• Provisioning and managing user accounts and permissions
• Leading technical onboarding and offboarding processes
• Providing prompt and effective technical support, troubleshooting complex issues
• Leading IT projects focused on identity management, endpoint management, and security enhancements

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of hands-on IT systems administration experience
• Past experience leading or managing a team is preferred
• Strong proficiency in macOS & GSuite environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing and implementing SSO solutions such as OneLogin, Okta, Google Workspace, etc.
• Experience with wifi and networking
• Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Proven track record in managing IT projects
• Scripting experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience supporting remote offices and employees
