Solsten is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their engineering team in Berlin. The engineer will contribute to building the Solsten platform and products, working alongside engineers, data scientists, and UX designers. They will design new services, improve existing ones, and manage projects from inception to production.
Responsibilities:
- Design software architecture based on business requirements.
- Design and implement microservices in Go.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Create optimized database schemas.
- Advise and implement best practices.
- Seek and realize new value-add opportunities.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of backend development experience.
- Experience with building microservices in Go.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
