Solsten is seeking a User Experience Researcher to join their Research Team. The researcher will provide guidance on user research methodologies, conduct studies, and deliver actionable insights to improve player experiences for Solsten's game industry clients.Responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting user research studies (playtests, usability testing, focus groups, surveys, ethnographic studies).
- Offering advice on user research strategies.
- Analyzing research data to identify behavior patterns and areas for improvement.
- Designing and refining surveys.
- Preparing reports and presentations summarizing research findings.
- Collaborating with game designers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Leveraging psychographic audience insights data.
- Adapting to different company cultures and project needs.
- Ensuring ethical research practices.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in user research.
- Strong proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of survey methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of gaming culture, trends, and player behaviors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
