Sr Corporate Financial Analyst

Job Description

Verisign is seeking a Sr Corporate Financial Analyst to support the Director, FP&A and the Marketing, Product, Channel (MPC) business unit. The Sr Financial Analyst will develop and prepare complex financial measurements regarding operating results, new business opportunities, and special projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in preparation of annual operating budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Providing OPEX and direct marketing expense analysis.
• Preparing financial models.
• Analyzing financial performance and creating ad hoc financial reports and presentations.
• Developing and maintaining vendor level trending analysis.
• Supporting month-end close activities.
• Serving as a business partner to the Director, FP&A and the MPC business unit management team.

Requirements include:

• 4-year bachelor's degree with 5+ years’ finance or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with financial modeling, accounting and audit principles/practices.
• Ability to perform in high pressure, heavily matrixed environment.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle Financials.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Experience with Smart View, Hyperion Planning and Tableau is preferred.
