Team Lead NOC at Verisign

Verisign is seeking a Team Lead for their NOC in Melbourne, Australia. This role involves application and infrastructure systems support, software development, maintenance, and enhancement to ensure optimal performance and security of systems. Verisign is a trusted provider of internet infrastructure services and delivers unmatched performance in domain name system (DNS) services.

The Team Lead will lead a team of NOC engineers responsible for delivering enterprise solutions for infrastructure services. This includes monitoring, virtualization, capacity management and trending, configuration management and automation, internal web tools and reporting.

• Supervise the activities of an Operations Support Systems development team.
• Communicate and track progress toward company and departmental goals.
• Ensure appropriate redundancy and availability for OSS systems.
• Identify, monitor, report, solve, and trend systems issues.
• Provide leadership for the development, maintenance, and deployment of custom scripts.
• Communicate systems health to leadership and key OSS constituents.
• Provide input on the strategic direction of the business and related OSS platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and operational support.
• Prior team lead experience is preferred.
• Permit to work in Australia.
