GlacierGrid, a leading energy industry player, is seeking a Billing and Payroll Specialist to manage customer account billing, payroll processing, and financial reporting. The role involves partnering with finance, accounting, support, and sales teams to manage North American customer accounts through payment platforms like Stripe, HubSpot, and Shopify.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up subscriptions and invoices, running account maintenance, payment collection, and general administrative tasks.
  • Managing inbound billing phone calls, emails, and chats.
  • Proactively contacting unengaged customers to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions in HubSpot.
  • Processing payroll for employees in both the U.S. and Argentina.
  • Overseeing payments to contractors and monthly employee reimbursements.
  • Preparing financial reports for internal teams and monthly reconciliations.
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and support business decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Degree in accounting or a related field or experience in GAAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing support, or payroll management, preferably at an early-stage technology company.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Slack.
  • Experience with financial software such as Bill.com, Stripe, Shopify, Chargebee/Ordway, or similar billing platforms.
  • Familiarity with customer support systems like HubSpot and Zendesk.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
